This picture is incredible to begin with. HOW do people capture such beauty through their lenses? I'm so inspired by this picture just as it is. Love it love it!

Because the photographer wanted the edits to reflect the time period portrayed, I couldn't bear to crop out the awesome Colonial style red house in the background. I think it really adds to the period feel of the picture. In PSE I added a sunflare and a texture, and I burned the edges, trying to make the picture feel aged.
i think it looks worn, aged, and just lovely. great "fix"!
ReplyDeleteWow! HOw did you do the sunflare?
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Very nice effect! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteIt's really lovely! What software did you use for your edit?
ReplyDeletegreat job!
ReplyDeleteCool sunflare. I know how to do it, but I always forget that I can. One of these days, I'll have to try to incorporate a sunflare in my photos. I'm also working on trying to get them into my photos naturally. (It's not going so good.) :)
ReplyDeleteCool. I love the sunflare effect.
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage look!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one because I liked the old house. But it is all about opinion! :D
ReplyDeleteI like that you added a texture. I considered doing the same but didn't want to go searching for one this week. I think the texture you applied is perfect for this photo
The texture really works well for this photo. Nice edit!
ReplyDeleteI love the texture and the burned edges, this turned out really nice!
ReplyDeleteI really like the vintage feel of the photo, and I like that you kept the house a part of the whole composition of the edit. Very nice. Thanks for sharing! I just started a new photography blog thanks to your blog and other inspiration photography blogs and the team at I ♥ Faces. I hope you can stop by and check it out! :) http://abvphotography.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGreat edit! :)
I thought the SAME THING about the house. Great job! I love the color you used. Even though I thought the same thing, I went ahead and cropped it out. I do LOVE the look of it kept in though!
ReplyDeleteTraci
Oh my gosh. You are so good. Seriously. So good. I am in awe : ) Very pretty edit.
ReplyDeleteGreat edit, I love the added sunflare. I agree, I like your edit with the house better...but both are excellent.
ReplyDeleteGreat edit! Really unique. I love the texture and sunflare - I didn't even know you could do that!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I like the house in the photo. It completes or adds to the story of the photo.
ReplyDeleteWill you post a tutorial on how you did the sunflare and textures, and maybe some of your edits. You've got some mad editing skills, girl, not to mention photo skills.
I like your new blog! I need you to make me a cool logo!
Boy you have a knack for editing. It is beautiful!
